NEW LOOK CATS
The Big Hosscat20 took a long look at the new look Cats in Canada and came to the conclusion that we will have some upper class men leadership this year. Last year we had Patrick Patterson, but the freshmen took over down toward the end of the season. That was part of the reason we lost in the elite 8. The other part was the fact that we shot the ball so poorly in that game. Deandre Liggins will be a big part of UK's success. He looked agressive, he played under control for the most part, and he played great defense. Darius Miller was out of position the whole time, but he has gotten a lot stronger and more confident from what the Hosscat20 can see. Even big Josh made his presence known on the glass and on defense blocking shots. I think those 3 hold the key to success. All the freshmen played well, but it is hard to tell how good they really are right now playing division 3 schools. We will get a more accurate assumption of their talent when we start the season and get into the conference play. The Big Hosscat20 gives the cats a thumbs up.
